Winner of the CSR Project Category at the 2024 Innovation Awards

This award comes as a valued recognition of the mission at the core of our business to rekindle heritage and craftsmanship in Europe and to empower those dedicated artisans who are outside of the spotlight. ODAYA’s Founder and CEO, Slavina Damyanova, MBA, spoke in front of an esteemed audience, accepting the award on behalf of our whole team.

ODAYA Home at the 2024 Innovation Awards

The award ceremony took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on April 4, 2024.  More than 300 guests were present, among which Bulgaria’s Minister of Innovation and Growth, Ms. Milena Stoycheva, Mr. Nikolay Pavlov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Ms. Mila Nenova, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, as well as H.E. Mr. Joël Meyer, Ambassador of France.

This year is exceptional as it marks the 5^th anniversary of the Innovation Awards.  More than one hundred local businesses and international ones doing business in Bulgaria presented their innovative achievements and competed in five different categories.  Each category was assessed by a distinct three-person executive jury.  Juries included successful entrepreneurs, senior managers in large international companies, and economic and diplomatic mission executives.

Unanimous Support for ODAYA Home in the CSR Category

Thank you to the CSR category jury members Ms. Sylvia Peneva, Country Managing Partner at Deloitte Bulgaria, Ms. Emmanuelle Boulestreau, Cheffe du Service économique, Sofia, at DG Trésor, and Ms. Céline Bolard, Chief Executive Officer at Groupama Insurance in Bulgaria who shared they unanimously supported ODAYA’s application particularly for the life-changing impact of the business on the lives of artisans in rural areas of the country.

Our success would not have been possible without the gracious support of Ms. Vessela Todorova-Mosettig, Director of CCIFB, Ms. Konstantina Karanesheva and Ms. Assya Trifonova and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to them for organizing an event that rewards and supports doing business in a healthy and sustainable manner.
